Tim Cheesebrow CD Release: A Night of Real, Good Americana
Adam Levy
Adam Levy is regarded by many to be one of the great American songwriters of his era. Levy is probably best known for his nearly 20 years of work as lead singer-songwriter for The Honeydogs. Levy’s songwriting has always been musically expansive, exploring styles as diverse as American roots music, psychedelia, soul, world, jazz, and classical music. His lyrics have always been thoughtful, literary and provocative, and have garnered him international critical accolades and fans. Adam’s wry wit and incisive lyrics are wrapped inside layers of deceptively beautiful melodies and hooks that have come to life with his signature great guitar work. Paste Magazine once said Levy’s songwriting captured “the zeitgeist of our time.”
No Grass Limit
There is no limit to No Grass Limit. This 5-piece band was formed in June of 2011, and they were only 4 months into the process of playing together when they took 1st place at the MBOTMA (Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association) Race for a Place band contest. Ranging from bluegrass, folk, americana, gospel and traditional music No Grass Limit puts on an electric performance that you will not want to miss. Members include award winning duet, songwriters and owners of Lesson Pros, Chuck and Sandi Millar, 3 time MN Flatpicking Champion Clint Birtzer, the nicest guy you will ever meet and plays a heck of a banjo Mike Hedding, and the gal that holds it all together on bass is Vaughn Asselstine.
All in all a fantastic night and it will be so good to spend it with supportive friends and family.
