Coined a “critically acclaimed Minnesota favorite” by Northfield News, this father of three has created a buzz around the Twin Cities with his three full-length albums and work with some of the most respected and accomplished musicians in the area. This classically-trained musician has charmed audiences not only with his blend of singable folk melodies and captivating, percussive guitar work, but also with his devotion to music education. In addition to crafting and recording his own music, Tim also runs Discover Music, a nonprofit that teaches K-12 students to write and record their own songs.
Tim’s latest album, Crooked Lines, debuted in March 2016. This album channels his long-time influences, John Prine, Jackson Browne, and John Hiatt, and blends them with a distinctly Midwestern flavor to create a collection that pays homage to classic Americana and folk music with lyrics that focus on the issues of today.
